Meet the Cadenheads
We are Jimmy and Valerie Cadenhead. Over the years we have been blessed with many different life experiences. We are currently living out our dreams on the old family farm. Click the button below to learn more about the “Tate Place” story.
OUR MISSION
We seek to honor God by marveling in His creation, conscientiously tending to the soil and animals, producing clean, nutritious, delicious meat for health-conscious consumers.
Our Animals
We follow regenerative practices. We are restoring the soil, growing forage, and raising healthy animals. We do this by rotating our animals (often multiple times a day) around the farm to fresh pastures and giving adequate time for grazed paddocks to restore. The high impact over smaller paddocks gives the soil a boost through the manure and urine deposited and the tromping of forage (providing carbon for the soil). Healthy soil produces healthy forages, producing healthy animals.
We raise and sell both live and processed grass fed, grass finished animals. Our livestock consists of South Poll cattle, Dorper sheep, Duroc and Idaho Pasture Pigs.
